The owner of this job board came to me for a direct mail letter that would offer a special, limited-time savings opportunity to chamber of commerce members only.

Based on my in-depth questionnaire, I learned that employers regularly faced two key challenges when trying to hire:

• Online job boards and newspaper ads are expen$ive
• The big boards bring applicants from everywhere, not just from locals

We positioned the service to solve those challenges, and enclosed a registration form that readers could complete and mail or fax back.
